🌿 Welcome to YOUR Isopods, where passion meets nature! I'm thrilled to share with you the wonders of our extraordinary collection of Orins Calico isopods – a unique and charming addition to your vivarium or terrarium. 

1. Environmental Adjustments: Stay attentive to any changes in behavior or appearance. Make necessary adjustments to temperature, humidity, or substrate conditions to address any potential issues promptly.

2. Habitat Setup: Start with a high-ventilated enclosure. A terrarium with a secure lid works well to maintain humidity. Ensure that there are no escape routes, as isopods are excellent climbers. A mix of coconut coir, sphagnum moss, leaf litter, and decaying wood provides a balanced and moisture-retaining substrate is perfect for them, and create hiding spots using cork bark, pieces of bark. Keep the temperature in the range of 65-78°F (21-24°C). "Orin's Calico" isopods prefer moderate temperatures, and stability is essential for their well-being.

3. Feeding and Nutrition: Orin's Calico Isopods are detritivores, meaning they feed on decaying organic matter. Provide a varied diet consisting of leaf litter, decaying wood, vegetable scraps, and specialized isopod foods. Ensure a good source of calcium for proper exoskeleton development. Crushed eggshells, cuttlebone, or a dedicated calcium supplement can be sprinkled in the enclosure.
