2. Habitat Setup: Start with a well-ventilated terrarium or plastic container. The size of the enclosure will depend on the number of isopods you plan to keep. Ensure a secure lid to prevent escapes. Use a substrate that replicates the natural habitat of Armadillidium klugii "Montenegro." A mix of coconut coir, organic potting soil, leaf litter, and pieces of decaying wood provides a balanced substrate for moisture retention and burrowing. Keep the temperature in the range of 70-75°F (21-24°C).
